Sunday/Monday 7/19-20/09 - Stress at Work and Vacation Packing

Sunday:

Well I woke up about 1:00, and relaxed for a little while before going into work at 5. Given I was supposed to be off, the day sucked. Had alot of crap to do and very little time to do it. Long story short, we stayed 2 hours past closing time to finish up. Headed home and just slept. Thats about it.

Monday:

Woke up at 11:30, and gathered clothes to wash and get packed for Wednesday afternoon's trip to Myrtle Beach. Killed time until 4:00, then got ready for work at 5. Was a rather slow day, and we finished Zone Recovery much earlier than normal. After we finished outside, we went down to Lumber and helped flat-stack, sweep, and straighten up. We had the entire store done and were clocked out by 10:30... something that usually doesn't happen until 11:00 or later.

Got home to find a note from mom saying I had 1 load of laundry in a basket in my room, another in the dryer, and a request to put her's into the dryer from the washer. I did that and sorted through what I was wearing to work the next 2 days and what I was packing for the beach. Tomorrow I've got to stop by Joey's place and then Chris' to pick up swim trunks from both places, then go get a hair cut. I'm working 4-11, then coming back to wash the trunks and finish packing up . Working 10-2 Wednesday then heading out. I'm ready to go!

Saturday: 7/18/09 - My Tuner, Work, and a Pool Party

Woke up with the urge to buy a mod for my car. So after visiting American Muscle and getting a couple of options, I checked the bank account. Decided on getting myself an SCT Tuner, and ordered a 93-octane performance tune with it. It should be here by Wednesday. I went to Seneca after that, and ended up heading to Josh's apartment. We ended up washing his GT, and just talked for a while. About recent happenings, Mustangs, Mustang Week, and the recent accident with John O. Left to go pick up some lunch from Atami, then came back to eat. Talked for a bit more then left and went to work at 3, and closed til 11.

After work, I went to my friend Joey's for a party. I got strict orders to "call some girls" when I got there. I made a few texts, and Renate said she was in. Went to pick her up, and she called Bethany to meet us at Shaver. We got there, and had a few drinks, then got in the pool. Swam and threw the football for a bit, then got in the hot tub. Went back downstairs and played some Halo, listened to Metallica, and played guitar. Ended up leaving at like 5am and taking her home. Turned everything off a little after 6 and was asleep within 5 minutes.

Friday: 7/17/09 - Work Adventures and a New Tuner

Woke up to a text from my department manager saying I worked 5-9 after speculation I worked at 10am. Went back to sleep and woke back up at 11:30. Did some laundry, checked facebook, and made some pasta for lunch. Took a shower and left for work early so I could drop by Allstate to pay the home/auto insurance. Got to work at 5, and got a run-down of what to expect this week.

Apparently something happened on my day off, causing my zone manager to have to completely re-do our schedules. I was supposed to work at 10 tomorrow, but he told me to sleep in, that he'd call me around 12, told me to expect to close. I said 'alright.' I continued my day fixing up what I could by myself, and left a list of stuff that needed to be done with my Op's Manager.

Left work and made it home in time to get a phone call from my friend telling me to come back to Seneca. So I did and dropped by there for a bit. I called my friend Josh to let him know it was alright for him to crash at my cousin's beach house for Mustang Week. He told me his tuner came in and he was gonna hook it up when he got home from dinner. I told him to call me when he got home, he did and I headed that way. I got there right as he plugged the tuner in, and we talked a bit while the tune loaded up into the car's computer. After it finished, he said he was taking a quick solo trip around the block, he did then he came back to pick me up.

We left for Wal-Mart and you could tell the boost he got from his 93-octane tune. The throttle response was better, you felt more power, and it ran as smooth as butter. SCT does a fantastic job. We got to Wal-Mart and ran into a few of Josh's friends, so we talked for well over 30 minutes. Left there and headed back to his apartment. We did a quick bit of research for my car's engine, then he started to watch "The International". I left and went to Taco Bell for a late dinner, came home, and here I am. Just ready for Wednesday to be here so I can go to the beach, lol.

Introduction

Well, I guess it would be appropriate to use my first entry as an introduction. My name is Jonathan, and I'm 21 from a small southern town. I'm 6'3 with brown hair and eyes, and tip most scales... if you have to ask you don't need to know. I work at Lowe's in the Lawn and Garden department, and yes, I have one incredible farmer's tan because of that fact. I have 2 loves in my life: Music and Mustangs. I play guitar as a hobby, don't really plan on taking it up as a "career option", but it's always fun to get together and play with friends.

I drive a 2004 Mustang. Oxford White with Mineral Grey racing stripes. It's a 40th Anniversary edition, so it's got just a bit of value to it. Everything is stock, except for an added Flowmaster Super 44... however that will NOT be the case for much longer. I've got a list of modifications planned for that pony, starting with Cold Air Intake, Limited Slip Differential with 4.10 rear gears, purchasing an SCT X3 Tuner and giving it a 93-octane tune to get the most I can out of those first few mods. After that, it'll be purely cosmetic for a while: reverse-glow gauges, new tint, new wheels, etc.

I plan on attending Mustang Week in Myrtle Beach, SC with my car. I'm going to be there the 23rd - 26th, and I'll be updating daily from the beach. Don't really know what else to put, so if you have comments/suggestions... you know what to do.
